MARCH 1990 TO TILL TO DAY ( 15 YEARS ) Working with
BAHRAIN PETROLEUM COMPANY- Bahrain.

Working as CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER for Oil & Gas Field.
Installed CROSS COUNTRY PIPELINES. GAS DEHYDRATION UNITS ( GDUs), WELL MANIFOLDS (WMs), FREE WATER KNOCK OUTS (FWKO), OIL HEATERS, FLOATING ROOF TANKS and VARIOUS PROCESS TANKS.

Review & study the complete plant drawings, prepare Tender specification, Prepare detail cost estimate and labour hours for the entire project for the company’s budgetary purpose. Negotiation with the tenderer and based on the decision/recommendation finally award of contract.

Reviews all engineering design drawings for the project and handover them to the contractor’s site engineer to execute on the site as per drawings. Ask contractor to submit Method statement for the entire project for review and approval.

Review MS Project submitted by contractor and plan the correct activities in line with the client requirements.

Arrange co-ordination bi-weekly meeting, review progress and plan for the future activities. Report all work progress activities to the Section Head and Project Manager.

Plans & co-ordination of all manpower for contractors, indirect supervise and follow up the contractor’s and subcontractor’s activities, manpower, equipment, provide technical guidance to Contractor in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Instrumentation works during fabrication, Installation and commissioning of the plants.
Check the progress and release payment for the contractor and plan for the future payment and send the information to account section for control of money flow.
In depth knowledge of fabrication, installation and testing of large diameter cross country pipeline for above ground and buried pipelines for gas and oil industry.
In depth knowledge on how to handle the works during shutdown of plants.

PAINTING /COATING OF EQUIPMENT and PIPELINES such as FRP lining on the tank, repair of FRP pipeline and PVC pipe line.
Maintenance of Gas Dehydration Column & replacement of various types of trays.
Construction of floating roof tank for gasoline and other petroleum products. Maintenance & refurbishment of tanks all as per API 650 code.
Fabricate and install FRP/PVC piping for various plants.

B.E mechanical Engineering from Bombay University.
