Production Manager

I assumed the first in a series of supervisory jobs which involved all process, storage, and shipping areas of the Refinery. These areas included the CDU, Vacuum, Visbreaker, Jet Merox, C4 Splitter, CCR Reformer, NHT, CHD, SGP, Isom, FCC, USGP, MTBE, HF Alkylation, HP Boilers, Utilities, SRU, SWS, ARU, OM&S, and Oil/Sulphur Port.
In 1990 I assumed a job as Refinery Superintendent. In this job I am responsible for directing the activities of all operations personnel to insure the safe and efficient operation of the entire Refinery Complex. In addition to analyze operating problems and take necessary action to solve the problem. Maintain close liaison with all refinery departments and organize all needed support services for operations. As Chief/Incident Commander ‘ICS”, assume overall control of all emergency response, and control activities related to the emergency. Such as, initiate emergency mutual aid, directing the fire suppression activities, and coordinate all operation shut down / start up and safety activities. As a manager, coordinate safety and environmental protection activities, promote plant and personnel safety, insure high standards in safe work practices, and serve as a direct contact with government officials, local authorities, outside organizations and the general public.
My job also includes a variety of responsibilities such as, administrating company policy and setting ISO procedures, maintaining a high level of moral, a high level of productivity, participate in turnaround safety, accident investigations. Setting and measuring quality standards with experience of quality system and health, hygiene and safety issues with ITQM strategy.
My work also includes analysis and strategic planning, marketing plan development, communicating with international companies and farms on issues affecting the company.
I was the primary person in managing a team during the past five years implementing Exxon-Mobile integrated total quality management system ITQMS, SAP implementation and business team and steering committee.
