Working as Sr.Engineer (HSE) in HSE Department for the last 5 years
• Coordinator for Third Party Safety Audit of ARL by Dupont USA based on 22 Elements of Process Safety Risk Management & Safety Management Evaluation (PSRM & SME).
• Coordinator to achieve OHSAS 18001 which has successfully been implemented in ARL.
• Successfully developed Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC) for ARL keeping in view ALARP & applying Hierarchy of Risk Control.
• Successfully developed Permit to Work system for ARL for SIMOPS.
• Developed Emergency Response/Incident/Accident Reporting and investigating procedure and conducts Investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
• Secretary of HAZOP committee and assists in Tollgate reviews.
• Conducts Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for specific jobs.
• Working to develop Operational Safety/Integrity Management Programme for ARL.
• Working to develop HSE Management standards for ARL.
• Publishes monthly HSE Newsletter.
• Developed an Occupational Health database for the refinery employees which generates reports on basis of Occupational Illnesses wise, Age-group wise, department wise, date wise etc.
• To conduct HSE-Audits of different sections of the refinery and their follow-ups through Action Item Database.
• Training Coordinator of HSE Deptt. For ARL staff to rectify At-Risk behaviors e.g. using eye-openers technique, Other Trainings include PHA, PSSR, ERP, Incident Investigation& Analysis, Human Factors Engineering, First-Aid Training, Safety Talks, and Defensive Driving Programme for drivers etc.
• Visited JCCP Japan Cooperation Centre for Petroleum to getting the training regarding Petroleum Refining for Process Engineers & Safety Management Systems.
HEAVY CRUDE UNIT
• Erection, commissioning, and start up of the unit.
• Monitoring of the unit and coordinated with M.E.S. team for the performance test of the unit.
• Commissioned the Soot Blowing System of the heaters.
• Controlling the whole unit through DCS to keep the rundown products on spec.
• Supervision of the Startup & Shutdown activities.
• Trouble shooting of the unit.

REFORMER UNIT
• Catalyst Regeneration.
• Monitoring of the unit in coordination with the UOP team.
• Daily summary of the unit and control of the unit through DCS.
• Supervision of the Startup & Shutdown activities.
• Trouble shooting of the unit.
