Responsibilities:
At Thermax Chemicals, headed up their oil field chemical development activities.
Responsible for handling Direct and Tender proposals for oilfield chemicals including but not limited to: Production, Drilling and Water Injection Chemicals and Oilfield Service segment lines.
Lead the overall strategic direction for sales and customer service for the E&P markets with regard to growth through enhancing/optimizing resources and closing new business and market opportunities. This includes short and long-range growth and profitability objectives.
Develop and build strong business relationships with key manufacturers and suppliers of oil field service products and ensure proper collaborations are in place to ensure the supply chain of these products to clients in the sub-continent.
Manage the Indian sales operations and customer service team, driving the sales cycle in all phases and ensuring that milestones are being met.
Lead, grow and develop a sales, operational and service team capable of maintaining profitable revenue growth rates while demonstrating strong pipeline, process, forecasting, demand generation and sales assessment predictability.
Develop and build strong business relationships with key customers and proven track record of developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Managing a technical sales organization including planning, directing and evaluating the work of direct reports to meet company targets.
Shouldering responsibility of increasing market share and achieving profit objectives through out sub-continent.
Establishing efficient procedures and standards; planning; developing and implementing sales and marketing programs; and conducting business development activities.
Perform market analysis through out sub-continent to identify commercial sales channels of customer groups and their needs, relying on customer surveys to identify changing needs in the marketplace.
