Roles and responsibilities:
 Implementation and performance of the Site HSE Plan
 Liaise with HSE manager in the development and maintenance of Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems
 Support the organization, implementation and maintenance of HSE management system
 Assist with the preparation, maintenance and distribution of manuals and procedures. Review and revise documents required
 Advise and represent company on HSE matters with clients and other outside bodies
 Liaise with other branches within company on HSE matters as required
 Co ordinate meetings to review internal audit reports and other HSE matters
 Prepare and distribute minutes of meetings
 Perform internal audits on company offices as necessary
 Ensure there is an adequate system for monitoring HSE matters and be responsible for taking appropriate action
 Co ordinate action arising from the complaints procedure
 Advise and make recommendations to the Operational manager on the resolutions of problems affecting HSE.
 Create a truly safe operating culture through focusing on lessons learnt
 Set strategy for the company?fs HSE operations
 Formulate operational procedures that recognize hazards
 Harmonize risk management between operators and contractors
 Get management and staff?fs commitment in order to comply to HSE standards
 Implementation of HSE policies, procedures and guidelines
 Risk identification and set up management of change when required
