Dec 2002 – Present. Coastal Aruba Refining Co. / El Paso, Aruba
Shift/ - Board Supervisor. In charge of running the HDS Area Complex and two drum Delayed Coker unit on the TDC 3000. Also responsible for the training and guidance of new panel board operators.

Jan 2002 – Sept 2002. F.W.P.S. S.A.E. Free-zone El Amreya, Egypt
Shift Team Leader / Panel Trainer: experience up to September is at the state of the art MIDOR refinery in Alexandria – Egypt. There I have worked as shift panel board trainer. My duty was to train the local board operators in trouble shooting from the DCS system, and assist the S.T.L in their busy routine job.
June 2001 – Dec 2001 Sincor upgrade refinery Anzoatequi, Venezuela
Start-up - / Shift Team Leader. There I was working in the positions of S.T.L in the Foster Wheeler Delayed Coker Unit with 6-drum. My duty was revise unit start-up procedure and to perform training to the unit operating crew.
Nov 1991 – June 2001 Coastal Aruba Refinery Co, N.V Aruba W.I
Panel Board Operator and Lead Operator. Working experience at the Coastal Aruba Refinery Co N.V. There I worked as lead operator and panel board operator on a 2 units 2-drum Delayed Coker and on the Hydro-Desulphurization unit’s complex. Performed all operating task and insured safe and effective operation conditions as per area Superintendents order.

Completed technical level in civil and Mechanical theoretical trade level. Technical School 1986, with English, Spanish and Dutch as main languages.

John Zink combustion Co. in heaters troubleshooting, Criterium Catalyst Co. In catalyst handling and loading. Betz Chemical Co. in boiler feed water treatment. Chem.-link Co. in boiler feed water treatment and condensate. ABB-LUMUS course in Delayed Coker knowledge’s. Basic Refinery Operations training qualified gas tester and safety inspection training from CARC & Osha advance process control from Honeywell on TDC – 3000 and Foxboro DCS control system.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Papiamento, Dutch, English and Spanish.I am a Shift Team Leader with over 14 years of experience in refinery operations. Actually I am working as D.C.S. Panel Board Operator and at the same time I’m training the new Panel Operators. I am in charge to control a 2 units 2 drum Delayed Coker and the whole Hydro Desulphurization unit’s complex at Valero Energy Coporation at last Coastal El Paso Aruba Refinery. My most recent experience was at the state of the art Midor Refinery In Alexandria, Egypt with Foster Wheeler Petroleum S.A.E. on an overseas assignment, my job was Shift Trainer and Shift Team Leader on the Vacuum, Crude and Delayed Coker Units. In Anzoatequi, Venezuela I worked as start – up Leader on the 6 – drum Delayed Coker unit and I was in the team who’s revising the procedure for the units start – up and to train the local Operator. I was also in the start – up team during the rehabilitation of Coastal Aruba Refinery.
