-the system uses 2 phased array probes (shear waves),based on 120 elements, which generates the focal beam,TOFD–Time Of Flight Diffraction using a wide angle beam (compression waves),2 gates Echo Amplitude and TOF (Time Of Flight).

TTM project - I've worked for the Contractor as NDT technician,
checking the pipeline welds using AUT–Pipe WIZARD technology and manual UT/MPI,in case of cutting-out and/or excavations and for wall thickness and coating gauge.The project consisted in laying down on the bottom of THAILAND Gulf of 340Km length gas pipeline.
