I am responsible for the following tasks:
Property Plant & Equipment control for the whole region including cost & depreciation.
Capitalizing the cost from the Construction in Process accounts / all product lines / whole region.
Taking care of the Fixed Asset Register of the region / Entering the assets / disposals/ sales including the cost & depreciation.
Reconciliation of Inter-company Balances.
Taking care of Authority For Expenditures regarding Fixed Assets around the region
Performing Full Reconciliation between the asset register and ASAS (store software) with the books.
Performing full reconciliation between the asset register and G/L.
Controlling the work in progress accounts of all the product lines for Middle East & North Africa Region.
Coordinating with the operations on receiving and issuing of Fixed Assets i.e. Movement of the assets in the region.
Controlling & maintaining the direct cost depreciation accounts.

Stock Control and Stock Valuation for 15 Countries on Regional basis.
Cost Calculation and Cost Control for the Spare Parts and Finished Goods Items.
Checking & Tracking of Goods in Transit Account. (Cardex)
Creation of Reserves against Inventory.
Taking care of Cost Accruals related to Estimated Cost of Goods Sold and other maintenance equipment expenses.
Inventory reconciliation at the end of the month. (To rectify errors / mistakes if there is any) G/L
Billing to customers on the basis of deliveries / Usage of Consigned Stock.
Recording of Receivables, Revenue and Cost in General Ledger through SJ / PJ / JE Vouchers.
Reconciliation of Inter-company Balances.
Analysis / Allocation of Region Expenses to the Locations.
Coordinating with the bases for the movement and the sales of Inventory Items.
Controlling the full in and out of the software, which is being used with in the Middle East for Inventory Purposes.
Receiving and issuing the inventory items on the G/L side as well.
Maintaining the expenses of the inventory and reporting to the management if needed.
Complete review of the movement of Inventory throughout the whole region after every end of the month.
