Process Engineer

Seeking a challenging post in a multinational/Regional company where I could stretch my skills and develop my abilities in the field of Chemical Engineering, using the skills that I have previously acquired during my training experiences.

October 2003 – November 2005
Enppi (Engineering for Petroleum and Process Industries), Egypt
Process Engineer in the Process Technology Division, reported to Senior System Engineer for refining and petrochemicals projects

ELAB (Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene), Egypt (With ENPPI)
A petrochemical project producing 10,000 ton/year of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) which is the raw material for the detergent industries, the scope of work is to Review all Basic Engineering documents prepared by UOP to proceed to the detailed engineering phase
My responsibilities were to:
›Review the P&I D’s delivered by UOP
›Check on tanks and vessels sizing
›Check the process hydraulics
›Fill in the process related data in the instrumentation loading data sheets
›Fill in the process related data in the line designation tables
›Review the project Master equipment list

KPC (Khalda Petroleum Company), Egypt (With ENPPI)
A development project for one of the KPC production facilities, Hayat facility. The project scope was to upgrade the production facility by installing a reciprocating compressor and an elevated flare system due to the increase in gas flow rate.
My responsibility was to:
›Develop as built P&I D’s for the existing production facility



November 2005 – current
BV (Bureau Verities - Qatar)
Process Engineer in the BV office – Doha, reported to Refinery Team Leader for Risk Base Inspection (RBI) project

QP (Qatar Petroleum-Messaied Refinery), Qatar (With BV)
I have been assigned as process Engineer in the BV / QP refinery team in the Data Acquisition for Inspection Management and Risk Based System with RBI Analysis project
My responsibility was to:
›Extract all the process related data required for the Risk Base Inspection Analysis.
