Contracts Manager/Senior Contracts Engineer

Responsible for contracts and procurement activities within the project. Value of contracts awarded and administered on the EPiCentre project have ranged from from Euro 5,000 to Euro 60,000,000 with an overall project value of Euro 325,000,000.

20+ years experience working in the oil and gas industry at various levels within project services. Experience of Project Planning, Cost Engineering and Control and Contract Administration and Management.

For the last 10+ years experience has been in Contract Administration and Management of the whole of the pre and post contract processes, including but not limited to management of the tender and contract processes from formulating contract strategies, compilation of a contracts plan, assistance in development of scopes of work, formulation of compensation mechanisms appropriate for the scopes of work, technical and commercial tender reviews, contract negotiations, award recommendation, contract administration/management, control and audit, through to coordination of CAR insurance policy claims and settlement, claims avoidance, mitigation and defence and finally contract close-out.

Work experience has been with both Operator and Contractors such as Shell International Exploration and Production, Occidental Petroleum, Kvaerner Oil & Gas, Oceaneering International, Subsea Offshore, PGS (now Petrofac), Stolt Offshore.

Experience of work internationally in the North Sea, Philippines, China and Netherlands.

B. Sc. in Quantity Surveying from Robert Gordon's Institute of Technology (now Robert Gordon university).
