Career Objective
Interested to serve as a Petrophysicist / Log Analyst for supporting processing/interpretation jobs related to Logging While Drilling (LWD) and Wireline servicesSpecial interest in Well Placement and Geosteering projects
Professional Experience
· Interpreted well log data from Clastics reservoirs in KG offshore, India
· Interpreted horizontal/ deviated well log data from in Carbonate reservoir in Bombay High
· Modeled pre-job and post-job scenarios for horizontal wells in Bombay High for well placement/ geosteering
· Carried out forward modeling and inversions on resistivity data for horizontal wells in carbonate reservoir in Bombay High and vertical/deviated deepwater wells in clastics reservoir in KG offshore
· Performed quantitative and qualitative elemental and petrophysical analysis of carbonate reservoir in Bombay High and clastics reservoir in KG offshore
LWD Log Analyst: Principal responsibility has been to do qualitative and quantitative evaluation of reservoir petrophysical and lithological attributes, pre-job and post-job modeling for well placement/geosteering activity, 1D & 2D inversion of resistivity data to obtain true- resistivity, image analysis for logging-while-drilling (LWD) services for well placement/geosteering and well bore stability studies, horizontal/deviated well interpretation based on LWD logs. Well versed with workstation in petrophysical interpretation and real-time geosteering (RTGS) pre-job and post-job modeling. In one of the projects related to horizontal well log interpretation in carbonate reservoir in Bombay High, the workflow followed involved compensating for environmental effects on logs, resistivity inversion (1D & 2D), image analysis, caliper processing for flagging badhole, crossplot analysis for qualitative petrophysical analysis, forward modeling (2D) of well log data and using the modeled responses for quantitative petrophysical and elemental analysis of reservoir. Client used the output to update their existing reservoir Petrel model. · Performed Horizontal well interpretation based on LWD logs/images in Carbonate reservoir in Bombay High, India· Carried out Forward modeling and Resistivity inversions on LWD and Wireline logs for deviated and horizontal wells in Bombay High, India· Carried out interpretation work on Clastics reservoirs KG offshore· Have working experience in pre-job and post-job modeling for well placement and geosteering in Carbonate reservoir in Bombay High, India· Carried out sonic delta-T (P-wave transit time) computation for a deepwater well in clastics reservoir in KG offshore.
