?Quality Control and welding inspection in Oil & Gas Projects involving Onshore, Offshore Pipelines and piping of platforms, Piping of Refineries, process plants. Fabrication of Pressure vessels, Boilers and Heat exchangers , columns , Reactors and Tanks, Off-shore platforms, jacket and decks, well head piping, remote headers, and Structurals. Pre-commissioning of Piping and Pipelines.
?Monitor job quality plan and procedures, identification of special procedures and test, periodic review of welders perforamance,to monitor job procedures and agreed inspection and Test plan ,compliance reports of defects and repairs and submission of quality records verification of test results and inspection(RT,UT,MPI,PT,RI)
?Conversant with various codes: API STD 1104, API 5L, ASME –sections II, V, VIII, IX, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 and DNV OS-F101, AWS, BS
Welding Process familiar with:
?SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding
?GTAW - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
?FCAW - Flux Cored Arc Welding (Semi automatic and Automatic )

?Coordination of inspection activities. With reference to Project inspection requirements, review and acceptance of the following : Contractor Quality System requirements , Weld test Centers, RV Calibrators, NDT testing agencies, Construction procedures, Painting and coating procedures, hydro testing/ pneumatic test procedures / packages, and Quality related Procedures like NDT procedures, welding Procedure specifications , CVs of the Contractor QC/Painting Inspectors, welder and Coating/Painting applicators test records.
?Witness of inspection activities, related to materials, welding, painting / coating, hydrostatic testing/Pneumatic testing. Surveillance & regular Inspection results, concerns, pro active notifications and violations if any, are recorded in electronic logbook. Follow up of Corrective actions and closing of E-logbook entries. Radiography film interpretation.
?Witness of Calibration of measuring and testing instruments.
?Witness of Hydrostatic testing and Pneumatic testing of plant piping and pipelines.
?Attend the weekly Project Progress and QC Meetings with primary concern related to the look-ahead schedules and quality related matters.
