Based in Algeria, SONATRACH is a petroleum company specialised in producing, transporting, liquefying and transformation of OIL and GAZ.

My actual job is Responsible of installation of control systems including (programmable controllers, industrial networks, instruments, electrical equipments and software.
Early I was responsible of maintenance tasks.

Technical Summary: Key skills/tools used :

• Work Environment: Computer Networks and industrial Networks (FIPWAY,
DEVICENET, DATAHIGHWAY+, SCADA, CONTROLNET), programmable logical
controllers (SIEMENS, ALEN BRADLEY, TELEMECANIQUE)
• UNIX.
• Turbines (GENERAL ELECTRIC, SULZER, THM, ALSTOM, SIEMENS).

My job consisted in giving consultative, analytical, technical and hands-on support in control equipment and software.

Install, design and develop Intranet networks and establish an Internet Web site presence.
Develop intranet applications.
Develop backend Press Release administration web tools for their PR branch so as to automate and manage information capture from hardcopy press release including digital images from their client (an International Company via simple web forms onto a third party Web Host site (UNIX).

• Capture user requirements and generate application requirements and design
specifications.

repair of a variety of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and microprocessor
based control, recording, instrumentation, telecommunication equipments,
process analysers, distribution control systems, laboratory analytical
instruments, pipeline instruments equipment in the plant.
• Preparation, reviewing modification, and new project proposals,
• Knowledge of codes and standards of IEEE, AFNOR or equivalent.
• Preparing maintenance methods and spare parts.
• Retrofit and New projects management and supervising.
• Control and maintenance of turbines.
