From Dec 2005 till date:

Organisation : Dodsal Pte Ltd, UAE

Project : Bu Hasa Facilities Development Project,
Abu Dhabi Company for On shore operations (ADCO)

Main contractor : Snamprogetti, Italy.

Position Held : Engineer Piping

Responsibilities :
For planning the day-to-day jobs on availability of work front and resources.
Mobilization of all the erection material (CS, SS & GRE Piping Material) and resources for execution of Plant Piping.
Follow-up, Progress monitoring and control of construction activities.
Lead the construction team by complying with project specification, relevant rules of project in line with Construction schedule, Quality and HSE objectives effectively.

From Nov 1992 to Dec 2005 (13yrs):

Organization : Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd,
(A Govt of India Enterprise)

Project : Kaiga Atomic Power Plant, Karnataka.

Position Held : Scientific Officer /Engineer (Piping)


Responsibilities :

Preparation of Technical Estimate/Bid Documents, Bid evaluation, Negotiations, making proposals for EPC work and Contract management.
Job planning and scheduling for different systems of Nuclear Piping using Primavera, MS Project software’s.
Reviewing & Certifying the Construction sequence, work plan, Procedures, Extra claims, fabrication drawings with respect to ISO layout & Plot plan submitted by EPC contractor’s as per ASME standards and specification.
Follow-up, monitoring and control of construction activity, site data inputs, pre-commissioning activities and providing daily/ weekly progress.
Implementation all Construction HSE aspects, job safety analysis and responsible for all site/offsite emergency evacuation preparedness program.
Strong co-ordination with various engineering groups like Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation involved in work.
Conducting various Technical/Progress review meeting /Technical Audits with the Contractor’s and Suppliers.
Responsible for finalizing & certifying the EPC contractors bills.

I have more than 14years of functional experience in varied phases of Construction Piping. Expertise in Fabrication and Erection of Piping and associated works. Good enough in Planning, Scheduling, Execution, Tracking and Monitoring of construction activity and Billing. Familiar with ASTM specifications, ANSI standards and ASME codes.
