Objective
Management level health and safety position within an industrial setting, manufacturing or construction, domestic or international. Seeking an opportunity where my skills, knowledge and experiences in heavy construction and construction management will be fully utilized to aid in effectively reducing accidents, workers compensation and related costs while also maintaining the project productivity.

4/2004 - Present Parsons Global Services, Shchuch'ye, Kurgan Oblast, Russia
Government (US Corps of Engineers) chemical demil project in southern Ural Mountains of Russia. I have supervisory responsibilities of local safety engineers and the specific construction packages they are assigned to. I report to the Project Safety Manager and represent him when he is absent or unavailable. My duties also include review and issuance of various permits, review of work execution plans, problem resolution, training development and implementation to expatriate employees, training development for Russian employees, attending construction progress and weekly safety meetings.
Russian language skills are moderate. Currently attending Russian language classes.

12/2002 - 3/2004 Granite Construction, Lewisville, Texas
Project Controlled Insurance Program at DFW Airport Terminal D expansion project. Responsibilities included training of and reviewing of all safety related documents used by supervisors and subcontractors, such as Job Hazard Analysis, equipment safety inspections, confined space entry and safety meetings. I also performed daily documented site inspections and employee and visitor safety orientation.
