Process Engineer duties at a Petro Chemical plant meant for production of the Polymer Polyol.
In this regard
• Monitoring & Control of the process parameters at various stages of production.
• Designed heat exchanger using Design-II soft ware.
• Had a brief exposure to design of distillation system using CHEMCAD soft ware.
• Worked on Design of Pumps.
• Had a brief exposure to Velocity & Pressure Drop Calculations in Design of Piping systems.
• Implemented MSDS rules & regulations for handling toxic chemicals at the plant level.
• Developed process understanding of the unit operations being carried at the plant like Mixing, the controlled reaction of the reactants and the solvent in stirred tank reactor, Distillation, Solvent & Extract recovery through extractive and vacuum distillation, and Evaporation, purification of the final product through film type Evaporators.
Monitoring and Implementation of “OSHA” recordable at Plant Level.
• Attended Short courses on Basic Safety Practices Particularly on “Risk Assessment Techniques”
Project Management.
• Got unique opportunity of handling the complete Project from its feasibility report to the final shape.
• As a Project Leader, remain Indulged in identifying & effective use of recourses.
• Properly Coordinating the Whole sum of Activities.
• Arranged effective Presentations during the project phase about the progress.
• Preparation of SOPS & check lists for new as well as existing facilities.
• ISO 9001:2000 QMS implementation on the running systems.

Went through the hectic training schedule designed to facilitate me to independently lead the shift.

• Power Generation through two GE gas turbines operating in combine cycle with HRSG.
• Steam generation through two high pressure high temperature Boilers.
• Water treatment wide ranging from raw water to potable water, Production of Demin. Water & BFW.
• Closed Loop cooling Water treatment
• Instrument Air production
• State of the art Distribution control system
