I am Petroleum Geologist with +30 years’ experience in subsurface projects. These experiences cover mostly development, production geology, drilling operations and exploration projects. I was also involved in heavy oil projects for 13 years, including EOR ( SAGD-HASD) and thermal ( CSS,SF). I have experience in drilling and planning horizontal wells by geosteering, using 3D seismic interpretation and 3D geocellular static models in the heavy oil Orinoco Belt (Venezuela ).
I have worked for these companies: PDVSA (Venezuelan Petroleum Company), ELF AQUITAINE (Joined with TOTAL), TECPETROL (Techint Group), EXXONMOBIL, PETROZUATA (PDVSA/CONOCO-PHILLIPS) and KUWAIT OIL COMPANY, involved in different basins in Venezuela, Nigeria, Trinidad and Middle East.I have extensive knowledge of Sequence Stratigraphy concepts, Sedimentary Environments evolution, Rock Type Facies establishment, by performing modeling in several projects I have participated.
I also have performed Structural Geology and Tectonics models by being involved in several structural styles; also performed Petroleum System analysis by Basin Evolution related with Source Rock Maturity estimation, Expulsion, Timing and trapping.
I also have performed Static Model building processes as part of Reservoir Characterization and Flow Units establishment.
I am skilled in Landmark applications like Stratworks, Seiswork and have hands on Petrel. Basin analysis modeling software I was used for source rock maturity estimation, definition of oil and gas windows, expulsion and trapping evolution.
