MAINTENANCE ENGINEER(GASTURBINES AND DESALINATION PLANTS)

Respected sir,

I am a flight engineer having more than 26 years experience in maintenance ,erection, commissioning of industrial & aviation GAS TURBINES, COMPRESSORS(both axial flow & reciprocating), PUMPS including heavy duty vertical mounted centrifugal pumps. BLOWERS,FANS,COOLERS, DESALINATION PLANTS(Multistage flashing), BOILERS(Hitachi Zosen).

I have worked in JEDDAH ISLAMIC PORT (KING DOME OF SAUD ARABIA) SIYANCO as Gas turbine incharge from Aug 1998 to May 2000. During this period have maintained the turbine W191G (CANADA) and storage diesel tanks. I have assisted and Co-coordinated with ISCOSA for the HOT PATH INSPECITON and control system repair. I have supervised the repair of leaking storage diesel tank No.2. The turbine was of 15MW power and a rated voltage of 13.8 to 14.5 KV and worked in SOGEX-OMAN LLC., on Ghubrah Power & Desalination Plant & Raysut Power Station – Salalah under Ministry of Electricity & Water on GE Frame 5,6,9 and LM 2500 Gas Turbines. To carry out Combustion Inspection, Hot Gas Path Inspection, Major Inspection with special skills in inspection of vital components (combustion liners, transition pieces, 1st,2nd stage nozzles, fuel nozzles, bearings, seals, etc) and also to carryout maintenance activities on Hitachi Zosen, MSF Type 16 Stages Desalination Plants, Seawater Intake System (Bar Screen, Band Screen, Seawater Supply Pumps), Chemical Dosing System (Different Types of Dosing Pumps, Agitators, Tanks etc.), Hypo System, CO2 Plant, Lime Stone Dosing System, DM Plant and NAF Dosing System and its Supporting Equipments like Purge Fans, Blower, Pumps, Compressors and HITACHI BOILERS. Presently working in ASSALUYE (IRAN) as Rotating Equipment supervisor for PTSC project.

Fully conversant with NDT procedures (Dye penitrant, Microscopic crack detection check) & Ultra sound thick ness checking. Alignment and float checks of turbines, pumps, compressors, bowers and other rotating equipments. Conversant with fabrication&work shop mechinary; lifting equipment, pipeline layout installation testing.

Adequate knowledge on store procedure, documentation, reporting system, permit to work,ISO norms, manpower&maintenance scheduling.
