• As stratigrapher in major petroliferous basins like Bombay Offshore , Krishna Godavari , Cauvery, West Bengal ,Rajasthan ,Cambay and Tripura basins of India .Dating of the subsurface sections using foraminifera, identification of unconformities / diastems , paleobathymetric analysis, sedimentation rate , identification of tansgressive /regressive cycles) and correlation with global sea level changes. Guiding graduate and post graduate students in field and in the laboratories
•Integration of Stratigraphic data (Sedimentology and biostratigraphy) with well logs and source rock Geochemistry data
•Sequence analysis using the concept of Sequence Stratigraphy.
•Generation and integration of Sedimentological Lab data and report preparation.
