Liaising with the construction, commissioning and operations departments, monitoring and controlling progress and producing all certification and reports during all phases ensuring a smooth handover at all stages.

Working on various projects throughout Holland including KLM, Schiphol Airport and General Electric in Oldenzaal.

CERTIFICATION/COMPLETIONS ENGINEER-ABERDEEN 1999 – 2000

Responsible for the certification of the Chirag 1 water injection project for Azerbijan. Also responsible for the creation of the commissioning strategies and procedures and assisting the construction manager in the creation of all project instructions

CERTIFICATION ENGINEER-KVAERNER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES LTD 1997 – 1999

Responsible for the co-ordination of all disciplines involved in the certification of the BP ETAP project using the Windows Project Certification System (WinPCS). Liaised with the construction, commissioning and operations departments, monitoring and controlling progress and producing all certification during all phases. Also created weekly reports highlighting areas to be addressed in order to hand over specific systems between the departments, finally resulting in the final handover certificates to BP for the safe running of the platforms and Lloyds of London for insurance purposes.

Managed a team of 20 salesmen in the personal accident insurance business for American Life Insurance Company (ALICO)

OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN-SHELL UK EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION 1990 – 1995

Responsible for the safe running of the Oil, Gas, Water and Utilities production plants on Shell's Brent Bravo Platform including safety checks, team talks with work parties in the areas and all work packs and permitry. During the 18 month Bravo redevelopment was responsible for a 25 man team of Instrument Technicians producing all their work packs to include job cards, permits, P & ID's, isolation diagrams, calibration certificates etc and ensuring all work was carried out safely and to a very high standard
