Professional Experience
I have been working in Document Management/Records Management specifically in the East Coast of Canada for 16 years on Hibernia, Terra Nova and White Rose Projects and have been working in the Oil Industry for over 25 years which also includes 6 years in the Alberta Oil Sands. I have extensive experience working with FPSOs, LNGs and Drilling Rigs (including High Efficiency Jackups and Deep Water Semi Submersibles). I have also implemented the document management system (Pisys) and all related processes for the following projects for Maersk Contractors Denmark:
Volve Project - a Topsides Process Facility to be added to the Maersk Inspirer Drilling Rig-Copenhagen
Volve Project Site Team, Thailand
Vincent Project an FPSO for a Client in Australia, Copenhagen
Vincent Project Site Team, Singapore
DS221 Deep Water Semi-submersible New Building
I am also responsible for the implementation of a Corporate Document Management System (ProArc
which includes electronic workflow) for existing and new documentation from Projects, Operations
(including all Maersk operating units FPSOs, Drill Rigs, Land Rigs, Semi-Submersibles, etc), Drilling, IT, Engineering, HR, Finance and Management. This system is being developed to be ISO 15489 compliant.

Electronic Document Management System development. This includes security access, disaster recovery, archiving/destruction, programming, document classification, planning, and large volume document uploads. Extremely Strong computer skills using MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access, AutoCAD Lite, Oracle based Databases with Sqlplus in multiple instances for individual projects. Able to program databases as well as implement purchased systems eg: Pisys, ProArc, Documentum, FileNet, Convero, SAP Document Module, etc. Technical Writing of Project Management Procedures and Work Instructions
Analysis, organization, development & demobilization of multiple Projects in multiple locations to ensure timely retrieval of information.
Presentation of project specific Document Control processes to potential clients
Workflow analysis and development Control and organization of Technical Documents. Change Requests, Deviations, contracts, letters, faxes and emails in both hardcopy and electronic formats. FEED and EPIC Contract compilation for large projects. Supervise, train & motivate personnel in Document Management processes. Data analysis, reporting and cost effective problem solving. Auditing. Documentation for Operations (DFO). Liaise with clients and subcontractors.Work closely with the QA Department ensuring quality traceability of documents.
