PROJECTS
§ Crude unit de-bottleneck project for higher throughput.
§ Heat exchanger bundles with new improved technology helical baffle design and twisted tubes to improve crude preheat and de-bottlenecking crude tower cooling capacity.
§ Reduction of H2S in #6 Oil. The chemical treatment cost was reduced from 27 to 5 Cent/bbl, saving more than $1.0 million per year and $1.5 million in cutter stock saving.
§ Study and processing of opportunity crudes (heavy and high TAN). Processed successfully high API and high TAN Hamaca crude at refinery.
§ Energy Conservation program for online cleaning of heaters, exchangers and air-cooled exchangers.
§ Visbreaker unit throughput increase from 18000 to 23000bpd.
