Petroleum Engineer

I am looking for a challenging position as a petroleum engineer in Petroleum Industry to improve my existing experiences and gain new ones (career development).

I work for Qantara Petroleum Company in Engineering and Production department. Qantara is a joint company with Merlon, working in Nile Delta in Egypt (onshore gas and oil fields). The details of my work experiences during that period are as follows:

1) Performing and/or witnessing the following jobs:
• Drill Stem Test, Conventional Completion and Gravel Pack Completion
• Perforation jobs (TCP, Through Tubing Perforation)
• Well logging (MDT (combined with TLC or LWF), PSP, RST,WFL, USIT, GR-CCL)
• Well tests (MDT, Flow After Flow, PBU, SPS)
• Wireline work ( rigless re-completion, tubing gauging)
• CTU work (sand and scale cleaning, Nitrogen lifting, Chemical Treatment)
2) Analyzing the following well logs qualitatively:
• Composite open hole logs to develop completion and/or recompletions recommendations.
• Cased hole logs (PSP, RST, USIT, CBL) to develop stimulation, water shut-off, perforation/re-perforation, and workover recommendations as required.


3) Preparing and planning stimulation, water shut-off, work over, well test, CTU and wireline work, cased hole logging, and perforation programs.

4) Using the computer software (PROSPER, PANSYS and MBAL).

5) Determination of Original Hydrocarbon in Place and Estimation of Recoverable Reserves by Linking up Different Methods (Material Balance Calculations, Volumetric Calculations and Decline Curve Analysis)
