EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
January 2006 to Present.
Jubail United Petrochemical Co. Linear Alpha Olefins Project.
Jubail: Saudi Arabia

Position: Pre-Commissioning Manager
Employer: Linde AG. (Dresden)
Responsibilities: Controlling of system and sub system divisions for preparation of hydro / pneumatic test packs, chemical cleaning of ethylene feed lines, passivation of C/W loop and aqua milling of designated lines after mechanical completion. All other relevant activities such as run in of pumps, loop testing, loading of chemicals, catalysts and desiccants included. Commissioning of utilities. Final inertization of the plant and preparation for normal operation regarding spectacle blinds as per P&ID, with the exception of B/L where all blinds are in the closed position, apart from utilities.
Documentation prepared as per company standard and modified to meet specific requirements as predicted in the contract or as per requirement for the plant and/or specific process.
Assist the client during commissioning with technical and process related problems and/or queries. This includes problem solving where unforeseen circumstances may arise whilst operating this new process.





September 2005 to December 2005:
Jilin Petro Chemicals: (Petro China) Olefin Plant. Revamp.
Jilin City: China.

Position: Commissioning Engineer.
Employer: Linde AG.
Responsibilities: Supervision of the pre-commissioning, commissioning and the start-up activities of the revamped section which in itself is a whole new downstream section onwards from the cracked gas compression, including a new propylene and ethylene refrigeration section. Additional is a front end Depentanizer, Arsenic removal, CO Methanation. Revamping of several systems in the old existing plant consist of replacing column trays, upgrading the steam system, two new furnaces etc. Interconnecting the old and new plants with more than 700 tie-inns to operate equipment in parallel and series for optimum plant availability and stability.

January 2004 to October 2005:
Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company: Olefin Plant.
Bandar Imam Site: (Iran)

Position: Commissioning Engineer.
Employer: Linde AG.
Responsibilities: Supervision of the pre-commissioning, commissioning and the start-up activities of the cold train, including cracked gas compression and ethylene / propylene refrigeration.
Activities include loop and function tests, air blowing and dry-out of the cold section by cracked gas operation in air mode, and flushing of all systems.
The Acceptance of hand-over systems, after confirmation that all the required protocols has been adhered to by the client. Working in an advisory capacity during start-up to obtain normal operational status.

October 2003 to January 2004:
Abu Dhabi polymers co: ltd. Borouge Petrochemicals Project. UAE.

Position: Commissioning Engineer.
Employer: Linde AG.
Responsibilities: Supervision of test run on Butene-1 unit. Optimizing and correcting operating parameters to achieve 100% capacity as per licensors guarantee.


July 2003 to September 2003:
Shanghai Coking & Chemical Corporation. CHINA.

Position: Commissioning Engineer.
Employer: Linde AG.
Responsibilities: Supervision for the pre-commissioning and start-up of the plant. Rectisol Wash Unit and CO/H2 Separation Unit.February 2003 to June 2003:
Jilin Ammonia project: China (Ammonia plant 1000 MTD)

Position: Commissioning Engineer
Employer: Linde AG.
Responsibilities: Pre-commissioning and start-up of systems. Dedicated
Areas, (POX-partial oxidation, CO-shift conversion unit and soot water.)
Including system checks, instrumentation loops and DCS graphics.
Training locals for start-up and then normal operation.

BOROUGE PETROCHEMICALS PROJECT.

Position: Commissioning Engineer.
Employer: ABL (ALLIANCE BECHTEL LINDE)
Responsibilities: Pre-commissioning of systems as they become available
from construction on Ethylene, Air Separation, Alphabutol and Basic
utilities. Including, system punching, hydro and pressure tests, instrument
loop checks and preparing the systems for start-up. Start-up of the facility
and completion of the test-run.1998 to March 2001: YANPET PETRO-CHEMICAL CO
