Career Objective
As a welding inspector with international experience and a background in welding inspection, QA/QC and inspection, my objective is to obtain a position which would allow me to share my experiences.
Professional Experience
Offshore Inspection Supervisor Chevron Thailand Ltd. 2002 – Present
Offshore inspection supervisor for Chevron Thailand Ltd. Supervision tasks include supervision of NDT technicians, ROV inspections, Rope Access teams, CP surveys and online corrosion monitoring technicians.
Offshore construction supervisor; In charge of re-tubing finfan bundles, rebuilding pressure vessels, installing and modifying pipe works, leading multinational team successfully to complete tasks in time. Supervising painting teams, QC and inspection teams, and construction workers.
Responsible for setting up scopes of work, reporting, risk assessments and evaluation of inspection tasks specified through API 580 utilizing T-OCA and T-REX software.
Responsible for review radiographs with RT team, and other NDT results for final approval for QC.
Welding Inspector/QC Alstom - Phu My 2.1 Add-on Project Dec. 2001 – Feb. 2002
Assessing and controlling welding inspection, and supervising QA/QC team on-site. During the project I learnt how to work with Vietnamese technicians. Review radiographs and all other NDT results before submittal for QC package.
Welding Inspector/QC Raytheon - Ratchaburi Power Plant Project Oct. 2001 – Dec. 2001
Assessing and controlling welding inspection. In-production audit to confirm the welding and related activities were being carried out in accordance with the requirements of the applicable procedures and specifications.
Running welder qualification tests and welds procedures using the permanent arc monitoring system. Reviewing radiographs for welder approval according to client specification.
Welding Inspector/QC Shell - Malampaya Deep Gas Project Feb. 2001 – Sep. 2001
Work as a welding inspector on the Malampaya Deep Gas Development Project. Duties included all welding inspection of topside installation offshore. Review radiographs and all other NDT results before submittal for QC package.
