Worked on designing and developing several business solution projects, that included a warehouse management system, an Order Taking system and a Van sale Tracking System. All these projects used the handheld technology (PDA) which ran palm OS. C was used to program the handheld devices and Visual Basic .Net and MS SQL 2000 database were used for the BackOffice. Wireless LAN was used for the communication between the handheld devices and the SQL Server. The Listener Module on the server was implemented using Visual C++ (MFC).
Worked as well on developing and testing a fleet tracking system for companies to track on duty vehicles. The project used the GPS technology for the geographic tracking and GPRS– SMS technologies for the communication between the module on the vehicle and the main server (SQL Server).
