Job title: Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the technical development and improvement of new and current manufacturing systems and processes at suppliers in local area, he/she also provides production line support for technical issues, works closely with supply chain and manufacturing personnel for the continuous improvement of existing manufacturing systems, processes and equipment.
Responsibilities will include
• Design automation machine, assembly jig ,equipment ,mechanical parts
• Support work related to evaluation and development of potential suppliers for mechanical and/or Electrical components Pneumatics component like Cylinder ,Solenoid valve,Load cell, seals, connectors, material , metal parts, PCB’s etc
• Interpret complex drawings and evaluate General Design & Testing requirements
• Possess knowledge of manufacturing processes like turning,CNC, milling, lathe,EDM, CMM,grinding, boring
• Possess strong negotiations skills in dealing with suppliers.
• Analyzing engineering design documentations and establishing the optimal manufacturing method and processes to manufacture company products and components.
• Analyzing discrepant part, disposition of non-conforming material reports, reviewing progress with the customer including design errors or revisions and preparing any applicable rework/repair procedures.
• Demonstrate ability to implement engineering solutions to quality issues in a Lean Manufacturing environment and at suppliers’ manufacturing facilities.
• Familiarity with inspection equipment and procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO and other quality standards such ISO 9000,ISO 9001.ISO14001 and have ISO/TS16949 certificate .
• Prioritize and work in parallel on several projects /tasks.
• Ability good problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient using necessary software programs such as AutoCAD, MS Word, and Excel.
• Ability to create and execute plans and cross-functional plans, using area resources
