QA/QC Engineer

Looking for a long term postion in QA/QC Engineering in the oil drilling industry. I believe the experience that I have will be a valuable asset to ensure the quality of the drilling operation.

Over twenty-six (26) years of experience in source inspection and quality assurance services related to manufacturing and inspection of petrochemical and oil and gas equipment. Out of country, career experience includes Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico and Africa. Have working knowledge and experience in API/Premium connections, OD/ID pipe coatings, Nondestructive Inspection, Threads Inspection, Torque Turn Connection Make-Up and Radiographic Film Interpretation. Engineered equipment experience includes; Heat Treatment, close tolerance Dimensional Inspection, Hardness Testing, Hydrostatic/Nitrogen Gas Pressure Testing, Assembly Operations, and Function Testing. Extensive surveillance at steel mills and heat treatment facilities. Experienced with Wellhead, Christmas Trees, Safety Valves, Packers, Completion Equipment, MWD/LWD, drilling motors, fishing tools, and drilling jars. Petrochemical experience includes Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Skid Packages. Additional experiences consist of management, purchasing, auditing, logistics, developing procedures, inventory control, and training personnel. Working knowledge and familiarity with API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, NACE and T.H. Hill DS-1 standards. Computer literate with focus on Microsoft Office programs.
