Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer

Seeking a challenging opportunity of Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer in Oil & Gas EPC company, where 5 years of experience will contribute.

1. Basic and Detailed Engineering for I&C discipline, assisting in development of P&ID, Design Basis Memorandum, operation and control philosophy, FEED documents, EPC tender documents, etc.
2. Review of all contract related technical documents and co-ordinate with client in resolving technical issues.
3. Preparation of deliverable list as per scope of work and formulate an execution plan for timely completion for discipline activities.
4. Preparation of I&C engineering deliverables including specifications, data sheets, Instrument List, I/O List, Alarm & Trip Settings, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedule, Junction Box Schedule, Instruments’ Mech.& Elect. Hook – Up Drawings, Instrument Location Drawings, Cable Tray Drawings, Cable Routing Layout, Control System Block Diagrams, …etc.
5. Preparation of Material Requisitions for Field Instruments, Control Valves, Control Systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC, ESD and HIPPS), F&G Systems and Leak Detection System (LDS).
6. Technical evaluation of vendors’ offers and preparation of Technical Evaluation Report.
7. Vendors’ Drawings review/approval.
8. Participating design review meetings, HAZOP meeting and resolving discipline HAZOP issues.
9. Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for SCADA, DCS, ESD, PSD, HIPPS, LDS systems.
10. Interaction with other disciplines, Clients, Vendors, etc. Attending Kick-Off meetings, project review meetings for the projects.
11. Preparation of project schedules, budgets of I&C discipline for EPC Projects (Pipelines, Offshore Platforms, LPG Spheres, Low Pressure Vessels skids, Raw Water Clarifiers, Flares, Slug Catcher, Water Injection Pipelines….etc).
12. Identify scope and preparation of I&C cost estimate for EPC projects as well as Man-hour estimate for purely engineering projects.
13. Conversant with ISA, API, ISO, etc, international code standards.
14. Familiar with FEED of various clients; ARAMCO, Eni Oil Ltd, Penspen, Foster Wheeler, Qatar Petroleum Company, Bechtel, Technip, JPKenny UK, ENPPI and JGC.
15. Calibration of field instruments and installation supervision of I&C system.
16. Excellent experience in Preparation Chronology, Analysis and cost Impact of Claims for EPC projects; already win a claim with amount 1,956,000 Euro.
