In 1990 I joined the Al Furat Petroleum Company and was employed as a Well Site Petroleum Engineer in the oil field at Deir Ezzor City. supervising well logging, interpretation, and completion testing and stimulation

Well site Petroleum Engineer, Technical Department, Al Furat Petroleum Company, oil field, Dier Ezzor, Syria.
Supervisor of numerous activities in based of oil field.
Open hole logging. Cased hole logging, Workover operations, well perforating, well testing, stimulation& fracturing, and nitrogen lift.
Well site supervisor, to ensure achievement of objectives for well completion, workover and remedial well entry program.
Well site monitoring and data acquisition.


1995 t o2003.
Transferred from the field to the main office at Al Furat Petroleum Company, Damascus Office, commencing as a production technologist.
Responsible for all production and technical aspects for production and development wells.
Well completion design and hook up. Raising interpretation proposals for water shut off.
Beam pump design. Electrical Submersible Pump designs based on expenditure and economic evaluation. I was involved in design for more than 20 wells foe ESP design with REDA Company by using SUBPUMP soft ware.

I witnessed REDA ESP installation in the oil field for some wells.
Myself did oil production optimization for ESP wells.
Carrying out economic evaluation to screen new projects and interpretation work including budget proposals for shareholders.
The prevention and reduction of sludge precipitation in the tanks of Syria’s main crude export terminal.
2003 to date:
Technical Study Center( TSC).
It is the primary goal of the PT in an Integrated Reservoir Study to add value such that the outcome of the Study is the company:
Earns money by such routes as identifying and developing reserves efficiently and economically through drilling or sidetracking new well bores, working over wells, non-rig well interventions
Saves costs either operating costs or inefficiently spending capital
Interface with TDE(Technical Drilling Engineer), OPS (Operation Petroleum Service)within TSC
The secondary goals of the PT in an Integrated Reservoir Study are to:
Become a better-trained and experienced PT so that he or she can add more value to the business.
· Promote good team spirit as the synergy of a multi-discipline study team can add more value to the business entity than the individuals acting independently.
· Understand other disciplines work so that the team operates more efficiently.
