I am also qualified to operate T.D.C. 3000 control system which I have been doing for the past 15 years was based in the (P.C.C.) I reported to the Plant Supervisor and had five operators under my control I am responsible for finished product quality and production rates. I work in close contact with the refinery planners.

I have been directly involved in the commissioning of the latest Sulphur Recovery Unit (Comprimo Design) (Super Claus Process);( 70 Tons per day) Sour Water Stripper and Amines unit.which was successfully commissioned in 1994/95 at the Engen Refinery, Durban.
I was also involved in the successful commissioning of a Claus Process Sulphur Recovery Unit (Comprimo Design .(55 tons per day).
I was also involved in writing of Work Instructions on the new SuperClaus Sulphur recovery Unit/Amines /Sour water Stripper/
I have also been involved in the commissioning of the new Asphalt-manufacturing unit at the refinery.
I have also been involved in the commissioning of the Polymerization Unit.
I am also qualified as a (B.A.C.) Basic Ambulance Assistance ,High Angle Rescue 1 and I am part of the Engen rescue squad.
I am also the Subject Matter Expert [SME] for the Sulphur Recovery units[SRC.Amines,& Sour Water Treatment unit]
I am also the assistant SME for the BTX [Aromatics unit]
I am also the SME for the TDC [that involves training of all new panel man /TDC 3000 control operators] to operate the following unit
I have also been involved in the step testing on the Polymerization unit RMPCT control [Honeywell] & have knowledge of Advance controllers
I am also the SME for the Aromatic [BTX] plant and have been involved in the co ordinating start up & shut down work
