Mechanical Engineer ( Oil and Gas Engineer)

My decision to pursue an MSC in the UK was directed at gaining international exposure, critical in today’s globalizing and challenging environment. My areas of interest lie in drilling, well and completition engineering

Computer Cab, Scotland: - (Present). Call Taker. (Part Time)
Involved in taking cab bookings.

Intelenet Global Services, India: - Sr Customer Services Executive. (Part time) August2004 to May 2005.
Resolving customer queries in regards to mobile phones, troubleshooting, taking orders and payments.

Trinity Shipping, India: -Assistant Technical Incharge. From January 2002 – February 2003
Incharge of all technical/engineering matters. Involved routine checks and maintenance of the barges.

Samuel Dias & Co, India: - Operations Incharge. From May 2001 – January 2002
Import and Export Business dealing generally in sea cargo. Had to deal with custom officers, get the various permits (Bill of Lading) labourers, machinery and also get in touch with the customers informing the arrival of their goods and organising their delivery. Proposed a Labour Management Report on control, allocation and wages of 30 plus labourers. Also proposing a turn over on implementation of various modules.
Trainee Operations Incharge. From December 1999 – January 2001
In charge of taking orders from Captains on ships providing with them with the best market price, placing the order with various retailers and delivering them as per the said time. The order would vary from food stuff, gases (Freon & Oxygen), beverages and other machinery required on board. Had to have adequate knowledge on what was being ordered and also a good reputation with retailers to get the best deals. My technical background helped in ordering of various mechanical components to the desired specification.

Project: Design specification of a 6'th generation drilling rig.

I had a number of gap years cause I had to work to fund my course. My work helped me gain valuable skills and experience.hvae always lead a team of more then 5. As with my working experience, I understand the key requirements of being a team player.
