1 My experiences are located on offshore jack up delling rigs a period of 28 years in operation maintenance, repair, up grade and new build.
2 Support company maintenance team during over hauling and repairs during offshore rigs shut down period in regards to hull structure, piping, and legs as class requirements.
- 1978 - 1981: Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC) Egypt / Assistance Barge
Engineer, worked on jack ups drilling rigs owned by NDC
in different locations in Gulf of Suez.

1 1971 - 1976: B.S.C Degree in Marine Engineering.
Naval Architect from Al Exandria University, Faculty of Engineering.

2 Life boat coxswain, Viking fire & safety training center Abu Dhabi / UAE.

- Duties & Responsibilities -

1 Carry out daily rig stability calculations.
2 Mange & Direct deck crew for daily jobs with operation requirement.
3 Operating & Maintaining, jacking system, all deck equipments (deck cranes, anchor winches skidding system, life saving equipment).
4 Carry out PMS (Preventive Maintenance System) as per company plan for the above equipment.
5 Worked with the project of new build of jack up drilling rig cantilever type designed by MODEC (RIG SNEFRU).
6 Reviewed Structure, Marine System, Safety Equipment Drawing & Specs.
7 Attended inspections for structure, piping, marine, equipment installation.
8 Attended Major Tests & Trails: Cantilever load test incline experiment - full height jack up.


8 1981 - 2006: Barge Engineering, worked as Barge Engineer on different jack ups in several locations in Arabian Gulf / Abu Dhabi Offshore Sector.
9 Carried out all duties & responsibility as per standard & company policy in high quality standard which been appreciated during annual evaluations.
10 Worked on Jack Ups in different design:
Slot Type Lattice Legs (Marathon 28C)
Cantilever Lattice legs (Hittachi 400C)
12 Carry out daily rig stability calculations and manage loading & offloading
cargo accordingly.
13 Manage and direct deck crew for daily jobs with operation requirement.
