PERSONAL STATEMENT
As a rig electrician I understand the concept of team work. Many times it is important to work on things that might not be considered electrical. The rig mechanic and the electrician often need to help each other especially when moving the rig or working on equipment that is causing downtime. There is plenty to do on a drilling rig and I enjoy getting the equipment in the best possible condition and then keeping up a high level of maintenance. However, I also know how to make do. Often in remote locations spares and other material are hard to get. It is important to be cooperative, flexible and inventive. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and in my spare
time I build cabinets and do my own car repairs. I stay in shape with weight lifting, swimming and cycling. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of drilling rig work.
Thanks for your consideration,
Allen C. Christensen Jr.
