Additional Information
I have over three years of varied experience as an ESL tutor and instructor in Mexico, South Korea, and in Canada. My students have come from a variety of countries: El Salvador, Mexico, South Korea, China, and Ethiopia. Given the varied backgrounds, life experience, and language priorities of my students, I am comfortable and effective as an instructor in different classroom contexts. Whether my students are political refugees, migrant workers, or business people, I seek out some kind of common ground and try to establish a positive rapport that is conducive to learning. I have experience teaching students of all ages.
** I understand and accept the many challenges presented by living overseas. **
