Duties and responsibilities :
Ensuring airport category maintained for the aircraft type in use of the runway.
Ensuring firemen under command are physically fit, disciplined and dedicated to work.
Ensuring fire vehicles, firefighting and rescue equipment are in good working order.
Conduct training programme for firemen and updating them with the latest technologies and strategies.
Responsible for the administration and welfare of firemen under command.
Conduct fire prevention awareness programme comprising lectures, inspection and evacuation drill to the armed forces community and public.
Ensure firefighting system installed in premises and firefighting appliances are in good working order, inspected periodically and servicing done accordingly.
Ensure all documentation, publications, manuals and correspondence are kept in order.
Maintain liaison with other agencies, i.e., Civil Fire, Shell, Petronas and etc, participating in emergency response planning.
Carry out audits at various premises relating to fire safety management and submitting report to authority concerned.

Duties and responsibilities :
Conduct regular audits on premises and activities relating to aviation, logistics, transportation, engineering and submitting safety report to authority concerned.
Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, near misses and occupational diseases which have occurred at work place.
Assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place for the purpose of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the manuals and standard operating procedures.
Investigate any accident, near misses accident and special occurrences which has happened in the place of work.
Conduct inspection in the place of work to determine no machinery or work process which may endanger or cause injury to person at work.
