Oversee oil and gas well drilling operations from a geologic perspective; including sample analysis, hazard identification, fault and fracture analysis,monitor drilling progress, correlate wells and wireline data to produce a final geologic log and well report. Maintain communication with contracting oil company. Experience with horizontal drilling as well as deviated and vertical wells, clastics and carbonates, geohazard analysis, geosteering, coring and core logging. Most recently I have been involved with Environmental/Geothechnical coring and surface exposure mapping for gas pipeline construction.
