Pipeline Engineer

Over 10 years petroleum industry experience in pipeline and surface facilities disciplines. Objectives focus of application of experience to new areas of challenge in oil industry.

My experience includes :
- Definition and sizing of pipelines and surface facilities for handling and treatment of oil and gas
-Optimization and improvement of the throughput capacity of pipelines.
-Pipelines route selection, wall thickness and stress analysis.
-Pipelines inspection, repair and replacement, corrosion control and mitigation, coating, construction, testing and commissioning.

This experience was acquired with SONATRACH (Algerian National Petroleum Company) by execution of different works related to pipeline and surface facilities design and maintenance in Hassi Messaoud Field (with cooperation of foreign pipeline specialists) and by participation in several projects concerning the optimization of existing pipeline and surface facilities systems and the design and construction of new facilities. These projects were realized in Algeria and in United State by renowned companies like Brown-Root & Condor, WorleyParsons, Bonati BJSP and ENSP (Algerian Servicing Company)
I am familiar with the relevant international standards and codes of practices for design and operations of pipeline network and surface facilities and I am experienced in the modelling and simulation of such systems by the use of computer softwares (PipePhase, PipeSim)

- Professional Master Degree and Certificate of Competency in Petroleum Engineering (PetroSkills-OGCI in Hassi Messaoud (Algeria), Dubai (UAE) and Aberdeen (UK), 2005-2006)
- Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Exploitation with specialization in Oil and Gas Production (Algerian Petroleum Institut Of Boumerdes, Algeria, 1988-1993)

- Professional Master Degree and Certificate of Competency in Petroleum Engineering.
