senior civil structural engineer

i have over 16 years experience in the field of design, estimation, project execution and plant maintenance in Petrochemical industry field. i am currently working as structural engineer at a petrochemical complex in bahrain. my present responsibilities includes basic engineering for capital projects and modifications, estimation and costing, preparation of technical documents for floating enquiry, technical evaluation of offers received, study and issue of technical reports for civil engineering problems encountered in the complex, coordination with technical experts for specialized jobs, evaluation of design documents submitted for the projects / studies conducted by consultants, inspection activity of civil installations etc. i was also in-charge of the shutdown activities for the reformers in our complex during the last shutdown.

my first twelve years of experience was with a multidivisional organisation in india. it has three production divisions and an engineering consultancy division engaged in the design and project management services for chemical and petrochemical complexes in India. i joined the firm as an engineer in 1990 and was holding the post of manger (civil) in engineering consultancy division when I resigned from the organization in 2002. i have a wide range of experience including design of industrial structures, project management for executions of projects, commissioning of projects, maintenance activities of petrochemical complex, estimating and cost analysis etc during my tenure in this organization.

i am a graduate civil engineer with specialization in structural engineering. i completed both my graduation and post graduation with distinction and univesity rank. i also a post graduate diploma in computer application. i hade undergone training programmes in autocad and staad.

i am a certified cost engineer with certification from the association for the advancement of cost engineering. i have graduate membership with institution of structural engineers, uk. i have fellowship with institution of valuers india. i have appoved valuer certification from institution of valuers india. i have memberships in institution of engineers (india) and institution of bridge engineers (india)
