Project Development: To carryout and implement the support services activities and to maximize the value creation of the projects and to meet the company’s and project’s objectives of early monetisation of the reserves additions. Frequent visits to site to monitor the overall progress of the project, interms of procurement, construction, commissioning & HSE issues. Formulate, manage and control the project cost through effective contract administration and control procedures so as to meet the company’s objectives and to minimize the cost and risk. Formulate and implement an effective project contracting strategies for the procurement of materials, equipment spares, consumables and services. Formulate the overall project plan and schedule encompassing the Facilities, FDP and Drilling and set the key milestone. Prepare well Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) and its revision by identifying all cost elements required for operations.
Operations/ Asset: Evaluate or develop methods and procedures for advancing drilling and completion practices, liaison with service companies & other research centers in testing & implementing breakthrough ideas, provide technical support and consultation to in-house proponents. Evaluate oil and gas reservoir performance and depletion strategies, analyze actual field data and recommend new projects for increasing reserves, perform reserve evaluations estimating reserves and recoveries, conduct reservoir simulations to predict reservoir performance. Studies and analyses the process and recommends modifications to enhance production or safety in consultation with the Process Engineer. Oversee day-to-day Health Safety & Environmental Departmental functions, prepare drafts and/or revisions to policies, procedures and/or guidelines, be responsible for collecting data and preparing reports for management.
