CAREER SUMMARY

I have over 40 years experience in the drilling industry, both on Land and Offshore. Working on various, types of rigs from, the old to the very new. I have developed a valuable knowledge of International Drilling operations. My supervisory capabilities and experience over the past 35 years has given me the ability to motivate others and communicate effectively at all levels of organization and with non English speaking nationals.
TEN YEARS OPERATING ON LAND 25 YEARS OFFSHORE DRILLING INCLUDING WORKOVER, HPHT, ERD DRILLING, & DEEP WATER EXPERIENCE. ALSO FISHING OPERATIONS, CORING ECT. WHICH AT TIMES ARE A NECESSARY PART OF OPERATIONS IN THE INDUSTRY

Over and above the day to day Drilling Supervisors duties of ensuring safe, efficient and cost effective execution of the drilling / work-over program.
I had additional remits to include but not limited to the following. Reviewing, checking and at times advising on drilling programs. To ensure the targets and well objectives comply with requirements and are achievable.
Non standard operations, potential hazardous operation (over pressure, shallow gas, collision risk, H2S, lost circulation zones, unusual casing string weight, etc), offset well references, expected pressure with depth versus pressure prognosis chart and table, leak off test requirement, hole deviation and survey requirement, target tolerance, drill string vibration, casing wear, BOP requirement and test pressures for each section, well head specification, casing program and design summary.
Executing the drilling program and constant evaluation of potential problems, approaching these on a proactive basis to complete the well objective safely, efficiently & within budget.

I have found my practical and hands on approach, historical knowledge coupled with a pleasant approachable personality and a keen eye for detail. Gave me an advantage in leading the various teams to excel in many projects and fields
I am computer literate since 1980. Conversant with MS Word, Excel, Data bases. Various maintenance programs, also DIMS experience with Maersk Oil & Gas and Shell oil- PDO
Also I have Deep-Well experience on land and offshore.
