Integrate a challenging international position in an Energy E&P company in which I could apply my skills and experience, either in Africa or in any other part of the developing world.

Executive with a broad based experience including:
- Managing the incorporation, creation and running of regional E&P companies;
- Negotiations with high level authorities such as Presidencies, Ministries, State Departments;
- Operating exploration permits including exploration drilling both onshore and off-shore;
- Developing and running exploration projects and being actively involved in exploration strategy definition;
- Geophysical survey acquisition operations in both offshore and onshore environments;
- Shadow operating of production operations;
- Coordination of Environmental and Safety issues.



Accomplishments

- Gold medal award from the Foundation for Excellence in Business Practice in Geneva in December 2004. This international foundation is under the patronage of Price Waterhouse-Cooper, Dun & BradStreet and other recognized International organizations;
- Conducted business which was given unqualified audit reports from both State and External / Internal Audits during the entire posting period;
- Made a marginal (H2S crude) offshore oil discovery on a 100% operated block;
- Management practices of our company (operational and administrative scale and costs) became a benchmark level for the industry in the region while obtaining high commitment and maintaining excellent team spirit;
- Successful negotiations leading to the signing of new PSCs with advantageous terms as well as renewal of the Protocol with the State administration;
- Fulfilled contractual State advisor duties attached to twenty-two PSCs back-in rights transferable from the State of Gabon to Energy Africa Gabon under the Protocol Agreement. My company acted as a non-conflictual and active conciliator between each of those contractor groups and the State whenever required by either one or both parties.
- Established and secured excellent relationships with each and every partner group in the region and conducted operations in a non-conflictual manner so as to maximize technical synergies at play to the mutual advantage of both the operator group and the State.
