Job profile

• Monitor and control all activities within the area of responsibility with confirming to HSE standards and guidelines set by the company.
• Monitoring and maintaining the process parameters from DCS control panel in the Control room by making necessary adjustments to keep the plant under correct and economical operation.
• Carrying out process improvements and working closely with the other departments for overall plant maintenance.
• Carrying out On Job Training for the Operations and conducted classroom training for local Malaysians. Updating the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performing as an Emergency Commander / Process Controller during emergency situations such as fire / accident.
• Start up and shutdown of plant by following the start up and shutdown sequence. Trouble shooting, bottleneck identification, De-bottlenecking, etc.

• Fixed Bed Catalyst filled Reactors (Exothermic reaction control by Molten salt cooling system)
• Pressure and Vacuum Distillation Columns.
• Vacuum pumps and Steam jet ejectors.
• Natural gas fired steam boiler. (46 Bar)
• Turbo Blower with Extraction and Condensing type Turbine (7MW).
• Thermal Incineration (at 850OC) with Heat Transfer Oil (Diphyl) system.
• Hydrocarbon Handling pumps with external seal fluid cooling system
• Flaking and Automatic Bagging & Stacking system.
