• Managing all National Government Functions/activities and Coordinating/liaising with relevant project proponents in exploration and mining projects;
• Supervise /monitor the implementation of government policies relating to mineral resources;
• Establish and promote effective ‘Consultation Program’ as a contact point/venue for addressing project issues with exploration and mining companies, project area landowners, Local & Provincial Governments and other State Agencies on issues relating to development policies, environment, landownership issues, project benefits, etc to develop projects and to implement mining Agreements (MOA & MDC) and Mining Act;
