I have a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & over 14 years experience in the oil & gas industry, 11 of which is in heavy construction (LNG plant). My skill covered wide areas of HSE supervision, Environmental Monitoring/Laboratory works Audit, Risk Assessment, Safety Inspection and Procedure development and Review, Waste, Monitoring, Management system development & implementation as well as contract development & supervision. I am a member of IEMA, IIRSM and Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals.
I have undergone some specialist courses such as Radiation Protection Officer course, Tap Root Incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis investigation course, Safe Handling of Chemicals/Hazardous Material Management among others.
Achievements includes developing & Implementing ISO 14001 compliant site, head environmental laboratory section on an LNG project construction, serving on project safety committee that achieved 30 million man-hours without LTI and setting up Occupational Hygiene and Environmental programme for world class LNG plant construction project. Currently I am leading the Industrial Hygiene and Environment section of SHES department on the Qatar Gas II LNG onshore facilities project with the EPC contractor – Chiyoda Technip Joint Venture.
Experienced in working as good team member within multinational and multi cultural organizations in different locations and under varying weather conditions.
