Experience Brief
- I have a total of 18 years experience in oil refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas industries at inspection field, onshore and offshore.
- From February, 2006 till now I am working for Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company’s (ADMA-OPCO), Located in State of United Arab Emirate, at Zakum West Super Complex (ZWSC), Zakum Center Super Complex (ZCSC), and Zakum Field (WHT) are located in the central part of the Arabian Gulf, as Offshore Site Integrity Service Engineer, (OSISE), “28 days on/28 days off” in TOPE Side Facility Integrity Section.
- From January, 2003 till January, 2006 I had been worked for Petrochemical Industrial Co. (PIC), located at Shuaiba Industrial Area in State of Kuwait, in Inspection and Corrosion Section as a direct hire Sr. Inspection and Corrosion Engineer.
- From March, 1991 to January, 2003 I had been worked for Cairo Oil Refining Co. (CORC), one of the biggest refining company in the middle east located in Egypt, in Inspection and Corrosion Department, I had started my position as an Inspection and Corrosion Engineer and I had promoted to Quality Control Section Head. In meantime, I had been worked part time at Egypt private sector as Consultant Inspection Engineer in material selection, welding, QA/QC, corrosion monitoring, NDT, heat treatment, failure analysis, training and other inspection activities.
- From December, 1989 to March, 1991 I had been Worked for Organization for Energy Planning (OEP), Ministry of Petroleum as Energy Management Engineer for auditing and evaluating energy consumption in industrial factories and steam/gas power plants, reduce energy cost in order to maintain and improve profitability and I was trained in this branch in Boiler Efficiency Institute, Auburn University, Alabama, USA for one months

B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, June 1989 with grade of good (72.8%).

Supervise all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, pressure relieving devices, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures.
Identify areas of concern and propose dedicated inspection procedures to follow - up their resolution to improve plants integrity.
Prepare data to implement and update the rise based inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance plants integrity and reliability in order to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance cost and plants availability.
Assist the inspection section head to prepare long and short term inspection business plans and budgets.
Advise on repair techniques, material selection, welding procedures, inspection and testing equipment.
Supervise and participates in non - destructive testing of equipment and piping, including review of preliminary interpretations carried out by subordinates.
Check condition of safety relief valves, prescribles as required and witness relief pressure setting, including hot setting where needed.
Provide instruction to meet competency based training programs for UAE nationalization.
Review project FEED proposals and design documents regarding material selection and mechanical integrity, preform shop and field inspections and review QA/QC documents, method statements etc. during project execution.
