Apr 2005 to present The Venetian Macau Developments, Cotai, Macau

Document Control Manager (EDMS Manager) Hsin Chong Engineering Macau Ltd

Recruited six months into the very demanding lifecycle of the first development project and succeeded in smoothing the introduction of the chosen electronic document management system (Aconex) into the project as well as refining and improving existing document control practices. Key member of the project teams for the follow-on projects on the Cotai Strip.


Jun 2003 to Jan 2005 Full house renovation

Successfully project managed the complete renovation and refurbishment of a substantial family home in west London, including control of all disciplines and trades involved, as well as budget control and full hands-on involvement.

ViCaMe Joint Venture

After the Frankfurt project, I joined the team managing the associated project for the supervisory Joint Venture in Düsseldorf, where my main task was to control the as-built records and drawings, and create and operate the various databases required to manage these items.

Mar to Dec 2000 216 Fibre Backbone Project, Frankfurt Germany

Document Control Engineer Metromedia Fibre Networks

Created and established the complete project Document Control system, and also played a major role in the successful establishment of a Quality system, including overseeing the parallel activity of the Main Contractor (Bechtel). This project was eventually cancelled without ever officially commencing.

Document Control Manager The B.C.J. Joint Venture (Main Contractor)

Highly successful management of the team overseeing the receipt, recording, distribution, tracking etc of all documentation activities. Designed new, and reviewed the performance of existing, databases and programmes in order to optimise output and simplify data input and extraction.

Also provided successful overall management of the Records Office, which served to continue the documentation process through to archive, and to encompass the registration and archive of all documents recording the Works.
