Assigned as an Inspection Engineer in various industrial plants such asOil and Gas Refineries, Petrochemical Plants and other related facilities like pipeline and equipment (on-stream and out-of-stream) inspection:-corrosion survey, inspection of piping, pressurized vessels, power boilers,furnaces, columns, exchangers, reactors, tanks and structures.Well versed in various NDT methods such as Ultrasonic, Magnetic particle Test, Dye-Penetrant,Holiday testing and Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL). Equipment include but not limited to furnaces, column, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, coolers, floating roof and cone roof tanks, and inspection of blasting and painting, holiday testing, periodic and stage wise inspection of various construction activities etc.Responsible for formulating all QA/QC activities.Inspection and Quality control for welding , coating, & NDT including documentation.Witnessed the “HOLD POINTS” and final resolution of QA/QC.Reviewed & assisted in up-dating engineering standards and provide technical support & expertise in the area of piping.Preparation of packages for hydro testing.Conducted stage wise inspection starting from Package review to Punch listing, Cleaning/flushing the line, hydro testing, lay-up the line with nitrogen and reinstatement.Conducted HOT-TAPPING, COLD CUTTING, WELD+ENDS & END CAPS for the existing lines.Responsible for stage wise inspection during repair, reconstruction of expansion loops, guides & saddle supports.Responsible for stage wise Inspection during repair nstruction including reviewing of engineering packages, evaluation of NDT test.
