Purchase Specialist

Promoting my career as a purchase officer in a professional environment that provides experience, stability and career challenges, besides being well-coordinated and organized.

I have been working as purchase officer at Alex Fiber SAE for two years, during which I have acquired a substantial amount of experience, both through practice and keen observation. I have been able to form connections with dealers and agents, both local and foreign, master negotiation strategies, handle major responsibilities, as well as prove my ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, and function under pressure and within a culturally-diverse environment. I have received the highest appraisal results in the department for the year 2005, as well as the company's Bravo Certificate in 2006, awarded to employees who render extraordinary performance, and I am definitely hoping to further my experience in the field of purchase.

As Purchase Officer, the functions of my position include the following:

(1) Observing the stock, receiving the indent and sending inquiry to suppliers.
(2) Following up Quotations and making Comparisons (Foreign and Local).
(3) Analyzing and Negotiating Prices, Placing Orders and Following up for Payment and Delivery.
(4) Developing new Suppliers and evaluate old ones during the Inquiry stage.
(5) Ensuring best Quality with best prices in the shortest time.
