ƒ¶ Operation and maintenance of Siemen?¦s OP20, OP5 w/ PG 730 (Siemen?¦s S-5 and CPU 100-103)
ƒ¶ „s Duties and Responsibilities as System Technician
Responsible in the operation and maintenance of the Yokogawa Centum CS 1000 Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and of the associated hardware components (Information & Command Station ICS, Communication Gateway ACG, Field Control Station FCS, Engineering Workstation EWS type HP 9000/712/33, Marshalling & System I/O Wiring & Wago terminal board for digital I/O?¦s), LEL and ESD System. Prepare and maintain documentation system in all DCS related activities. In-charge of plant wide communication system including the Siemen?¦s Hicom 300 Private Automated Branch Exchange System (PABX) software programming (Comtes) & hardware troubleshooting.
Ħ DCS
1.Co-ordinates necessary fault investigation, repair and maintenance works
2.Control security protection during function test of process control instruments and perform fine-tuning of control parameters. Works closely with Process Boardman, & Process Engineer.
3.Supports in plant pre start-up function testing and assist in plant start-up.
4.Implements system revisions.
Ħ System Physical Maintenance
1.Performs preventive maintenance/ implements plans and programs for maintaining, servicing, environmental monitoring, terminal checking, function testing of all Yokogawa DCS, PLC hardware and PABX system components. 2.Performs logic sequence/interlock control, instrumentation measurement/control system checking, evaluation and troubleshooting relative to equipment/process system abnormalities.
Ħ With regards to Rehab Works:
1.Measurement and reporting of physical progress, specification, and inspection of control system components
